About main materials

Brass

Brass is an alloy of copper and zinc and has a beautiful golden color.

Benefits:

Disadvantages:

  • May discolor in reaction to oxygen in the air or perspiration

SILVER925 (STERLING SILVER)

SILVER925 IS AN ALLOY CONSISTING OF 92.5% PURE SILVER AND 7.5% OTHER METALS (MAINLY COPPER).

Benefits:

  • Harder than sterling silver and stronger as jewelry

  • Elegant and clean silvery white

  • Relatively unlikely to cause metal allergies

  • Blends well with the skin and is easy to match with any fashion

Disadvantages:

  • May react with sulfur in the air, causing blackening (sulfurization)

  • Higher price than brass

  • Soft metal, may be deformed by strong impact

K10 (10K GOLD)

K10 IS AN ALLOY CONSISTING OF 41.7% PURE GOLD AND 58.3% OTHER METALS.

  • Less likely to cause metal allergies

Disadvantages:

  • Higher price than other materials

  • SLIGHTLY LESS BRILLIANT THAN PURE GOLD (K24)

  • Soft and may be deformed by strong impact

Coating and Plating

Rhodium coating

Rhodium is a rare metal of the platinum group and is extremely hard and tarnish-resistant.

Benefits:

  • Beautiful shine and mirror-like luster

  • High durability and discoloration resistance

  • Less likely to cause allergic reactions

  • Prevents sulfurization (darkening) of silver

Disadvantages:

  • Coating gradually fades due to frequency of use and environment.

  • Coating needs to be recoated if it peels off

  • The plating layer is thin and may be scratched by strong friction.

Maintenance: Daily cleaning with a soft cloth is sufficient. 2 to 3 years recoating is recommended.

18K GOLD PLATING

THIS IS A PROCESS OF THIN COATING OF 18K GOLD (75% GOLD).

Benefits:

  • REAL 18K GOLD BRILLIANCE IS ACHIEVED.

  • Prevents discoloration of brass

  • Long-term beauty can be maintained with proper care.

Disadvantages:

  • Plating gradually fades due to frequency of use and environment

  • Plating may peel off due to strong friction or impact.

  • Discoloration may occur due to perspiration or contact with cosmetics

Maintenance: Wipe with a soft cloth after use and avoid wearing after applying cosmetics or perfume. When storing, it is recommended that the jewelry be placed in its own case to avoid contact with other jewelry.

Vermeil

GOLD PLATING (MINIMUM 2.5 MICRONS THICK) OVER SILVER 925 FOR A PREMIUM FINISH.

Benefits:

  • Thicker than normal gold plating for greater durability

  • Silver base prevents metal allergies.

  • Luxury finish

  • BEAUTIFUL SHINE LIKE K18 GOLD

Disadvantages:

  • LIKE 18K GOLD PLATING, GRADUALLY FADES DUE TO FREQUENCY OF USE AND ENVIRONMENT.

  • Higher price due to thicker gold plating

  • May discolor on contact with strong acids and alkalis

Maintenance: Wipe with a soft cloth after use and store in a special case to avoid contact with other jewelry.

How to care for your jewelry

Daily Care

  • Remove when sleeping, bathing, or playing sports.

  • Do not wear after applying cosmetics or perfume

  • Wipe with a soft cloth after use

  • Avoid contact with seawater and chlorinated water

Storage method

  • Store in a dry place

  • Please place the jewelry in its own case to avoid contact with other jewelry.

  • Avoid direct sunlight
